I. Commitment Levels -

  • Option 1 - "Membership" (tuition / flat monthly fee):
    • $350/month for one 60-minute lesson per week  (~$87.50/ea)  OR  $175/month for one 30-minute lesson per week (~$43.75/ea).
      • 4 to 5 per month / sometimes 3 if holiday.
      • Continuity of Curriculum (lesson notes, goal-oriented, structured lessons).
      • Audition / Interview required.
      • Prioritized scheduling.
*Two lessons per week would be double fees (double commitment)
  • Option 2 - "A La Carte"  (single rates / per lesson fee):
    • $100/ one 60-minute lesson  OR  $50/one 30-minute lesson (~12.5% more per lesson than membership).
      • No monthly commitment (best for students / families with inconsistent schedules).
      • Lesson topics are impromptu (lesson notes, curriculum, goals setting not included).
      • No Audition-Interview required.
      • Weekly spot not guaranteed (members get priority scheduling)
*House-calls are an additional $25 per visit (due to travel time and gas)

II. Scheduling & Cancelation -

  • Cancelation / Credits / Scheduling:
    • Lessons canceled by 5pm the day prior to their scheduled lesson will receive a  "Make-Up Pass" (emergencies, illness, and/or poor planning not excluded).
    • Redeem a  "Make-Up Pass" using the lesson portal calendar or by contacting the teacher directly.
    • A "Make-Up Pass" expires 1-month after its issuing date (can not accumulate more than 1 at a time).
    • All lessons will start/end at their scheduled times unless mutually arranged otherwise.
  • Memberships:
    • Can be canceled with a 14-day notice before the 1st of the month in writing via email (effective the next tuition due date).
    • Teacher will pro-rate fees for any months his availability is limited.
    •  "Summer Hold" available for a maximum of 2 months by pre-paying returning month (reserves spots upon return and waives tuition during hold dates).

III. Payments -

  • Online through PayPal link found in invoices, OR check payable to:Panout Music Group” (preferred)
  • Membership tuition is due by the 1st lesson each month / A-La-Carte lessons are due at time of lesson.
  • $25 late fee is received after the 10th of month (auto-pay recommended for Memberships).
  • Refunds will not be given / memberships are non-transferable.

IV. Supplies & Requirements -

  • Use studio web portal at www.TakeDrums.com (Facilitates: scheduling, auto-reminders, billing, and lesson notes)
  • Prescribed method books (necessary to learn fundamentals) 
  • Bring sticks/mallets and notebook to every lesson (instructor will provide professional quality instruments)
  • Have a metronome, practice pad, music stand, and an instrument at home to practice with.

V. Photo & Video Release -

Unless requested in writing TakeDrums.com is granted permission to take photographs/Video of student to use in brochures, websites, posters, advertisements, and other promotional material.

VI. Liability Waiver -

You assume all risk of injury or harm to the child(ren) or adult(s) associated with participation in musical activities at TakeDrums.com and agree to release, indemnify, defend and forever discharge TakeDrums.com and its officers and staff from all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, and expenses in the unlikely event of injury sustained by your child(ren) or adult student during the course or as a result of their participation in TakeDrums.com musical activities.  TakeDrums.com is not responsible for student before or after their music lesson.
